Diving the centre of the Coral Triangle

Indonesia

Indonesia contains possibly the largest variety of marine species on earth.

Indonesia is home to 15% of the World's coral reefs and has over 4,000 recorded different fish & invertebrate species - with many more yet to be identified. Diving in Indonesia is so varied that there is plenty to appeal to even the most seasoned diver.

Dive alongside manta rays and various sharks, including white tip, grey reef, and wobbegongs. Drift along some of the healthiest coral reefs in the world with a huge diversity of fish. Or get in close to try and find the plethora of tiny critters such as pygmy seahorses and the tiniest of the tiny, ladybugs.

Raja Ampat

Diving Raja Ampat offers a mix of drift dives, dark sand slopes, dramatic walls dotted with huge gorgonian fans, reefs covered with colourful soft corals as well as cleaning stations for manta rays.

During each trip we cruise between Misool, Batanta, the Fiabacet Chain, the Dampier Strait, Gam, Mansuar and Arborek Islands. Expect to see large schools of bumphead parrotfish, snapper, barracuda and trevally. Groups of oriental sweetlips shelter and batfish hang in the currents.

Manta rays are common in the north, mobula rays too. Whitetip, wobbegong, blacktip and epaulette sharks are also regularly spotted. For critter lovers there are pygmy seahorses, lots of nudibranchs, crocodile fish, blue ringed octopus, cuttlefish and toadfish.

Komodo

There are a huge diversity of dive sites in Komodo; muck diving, black volcanic sand, coral gardens, reef pinnacles, and manta ray cleaning stations. Departing from Labuan Bajo, we bring you to Sangeang Island, Gili Banta, Gili Lawa Laut, Current City, Padar Island, Rinca, Nusa Kode, and Manta Alley.

Marine species you will encounter include schools of trevally, whitetip reef sharks, surgeonfish, bumphead parrotfish, sweetlips and wrasse. Manta rays gather at cleaning stations or hang in the channels to feed. Mobula and eagle rays are also common visitors with numerous turtles.

The critter sightings are endless; frogfish, ghost pipefish, seahorses, spiny devil fish, flatworms, nudibranchs, squat lobsters, mandarin fish, xeno crabs and cuttlefish. We also make a short trip to see the famous Komodo Dragons.

Transition Cruises

Starting in 2022 we began offering new itineraries with incredible diving in rarely visited areas such as: Halmahera, the Spice Islands, Eastern Banda Sea, Triton Bay, and the Southern Forgotten Islands. If you like adventure, these itineraries have your name on them!

Moving out of Komodo via Maumere, Alor, and onto Triton bay these transitions offer the chance to visit destinations rarely touched by liveaboards. Heading north, you can also visit the Spice Islands, Halmahera, and North Sulawesi.

If you think the variety in Komodo and Raja is impressive then imagine what you can see in between. Schooling hammerheads, mola mola, whalesharks, thresher sharks, unique reefs that never see divers, and land visits where seeing another tourist would be a real surprise. Unseen Indonesia awaits.

Indo Siren

Built by divers for divers you can be rest assured that every need has been thought of and addressed.

Launched in April 2011, the 40m Indo Siren was built on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi and is handcrafted from ironwood and teak (traditional to the area). Welcoming a maximum of 16 guests, there is ample space to relax. Eight cabins are divided between fixed doubles, fixed twin, and flexible twin/double cabins.

Each cabin has air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom with hot water. The covered outdoor dining area provides a great setting for all your meals and the spacious air-conditioned saloon offers a cocktail bar, comfortable seating, and a large flat screen TV. Our crews are second-to-none, delivering outstanding and friendly service.

The dive deck will most likely be one of the most spacious and comfortable you will have come across. There are also designated areas for charging and preparation of your camera and video equipment, making Indo Siren a top choice for underwater photographers and videographers.

Coltri-sub compressors are used to fill our dive cylinders and Nitrox fills are supplied via a membrane system. Dive activities are supported by two tenders, which take divers to the dive sites in small groups and remain on standby to provide support and pick-ups.
